This is an outfit I wore last week to a shoot. When I take pictures of girls, it generally involves a lot of time spent crawling around on the floor and getting into all sorts of bizarre positions to get just the angle I want. This means very casual, verging on hobo, dress code. I don’t usually document these outfits, but it’s only fair that I do, every once in while. Besides, I love hobo days.

- Drawstring wait cropped pants [Mine are from H&M, 2 years ago]

- Jenny Holzer’s “Protect Me From What I Want” Keds
- Satchel I got on a Tokyo street corner
Zo, you might say, can one really wear legwarmers with pants? “Just view them as an extension of the shoes”, I’ll reply. Though I dig these Keds, the high tops just aren’t high enough for me.
MAKE UP

- Lips: a random coral lipstick with E.L.F. gloss over it

For perfect height high-top sneaks, give the custom Converse creator a shot. Having an array of high-tops in a variety of colors to match outfits is fan-freakin’-tastic.

Ashbet, these sock have ruffles on them, and I believe I got them at Old Navy or Target or some such place a while back.
Ah! Ahhh! I have those same drawstring pants from H&M two years ago, except mine are full-length! I love them so much, EXCEPT, the leg got caught on a nail & ripped. I wear them anyway. Maybe I will cut them off at the knee!

I tend to be the one who ends up sweating because of all the squatting, squirming and rolling around I do to get the good angles.

I love that you provide unexpected legwear combos. I’m always trying to incorporate fun sock-things into non-dress-based outfits, but with little success. Maybe one day…
