Quick photo-documentation of last night’s outfit for you, which happens to be another good example of my everyday summer look. My friend Josh was playing at the Staples Center, so Courtney and I walked over from her place downtown – comfortable shoes were a must.

You look amazing, as always!! I have to know, what is the maker of those fantastic boots?
Those are some killer leggings. I love seeing attainable pieces styled so awesomely.
Love every bit of it! Especially that your nails match your hair. The silver over blue is amazing, and you are so pretty.
have you seen the glitter polish from Deborah Lippman? I just got Across The Universe and it’s SICK. The Lady Sings The Blues color has your name all over it.
Speaking of polish, your leggings reminded me of the OPI shatter.
Reject Superstar, the boots are by Jump.
Whitney, exactly! hough I do love the occasional epic designer piece, creating awesome outfits from accessible clothes has always been my goal in every incarnation of my fashion column.
Stephanie, thank you!!
Ivonne, I just checked out those polishes and DAYUMN. $18 is a bit high but… The Lady Sings The Blues matches the hair so well! Might have to splurge. Across the Universe and Bad Romance are stunners, too.
it IS high but if you layer them over other colors as a top coat like you did with your glitter, it will last longer + they look different depending on what color you put them over. Worth the money, believe me. :)
P.S. nordstrom has them. Don’t pay for shipping!
Hmm, yes, perhaps it is a worthy investment.
Those boots = perfect for walking on the lunar surface. Love them so much!
Are you wearing clear tunnels in your ears with the awesome hardware earrings?
I’m loving your hairstyle!!!
I’ve never consciously tried to create a style for myself. My brother once told me I looked like a Muslim ninja so I guess that means something.
I try not to buy new clothes when I can help it because the vast majority of what’s sold these days is made from mostly child labor and indentured slaves overseas, including the more “high end” brands. *barf*
I would love to see more pictures of your awesome hair plz.
P.S. that brown(?) eyeshadow looks good on you.
So Zoe, you’ve got me completely obsessing over those boots ever since I saw them in action on your D4RT video. Thanks to your response to Reject Superstar, I can finally rest my eyes from hours of abuse fruitlessly searching the far reaches of the Internet. Amazon seems to be the -only- place I can buy these. With just three left and in my size (8), they’re just waiting for Me! However, I’m concerned; the three reviews on the page mention they run small in the shaft. I’m torn. Rarely have I felt such lust for a pair of shoes. So I’ll ask you: do they fit true to size? Or am I asking for heartache if I buy them?
