Makes one wonder what some of your work would look like fully 3D. zoetica Post authorJanuary 30, 2008 at 7:44 PM/ Oh wow – a pre-emptive thank you! Chances are I’ll be perfecting the design before production so this isn’t exactly what the final will look like, but it’s so exciting to actually see it this way. Tequila January 30, 2008 at 9:08 PM/ I’m still a beginner with 3D modeling but you’d be surprised how many elements of more traditional art disciples come into play. If you ever get a chance to seriously play with stuff like Maya for example..do so. I think you’d enjoy it. I basically want to learn it so I can integrate 3D elements into my own work but also in hopes of breaking into visual effects…a lot of great things are starting to evolve in all that beyond just standard FX for films. The tools that come out of it…amazing stuff…especially in the area of organic modeling. el January 31, 2008 at 11:22 AM/ wow, thanks zo.. again, i’m so glad you enjoyed it. tequila: maya is what i used to make this.. best of luck with your modeling, 3d is an amazingly fun medium to work with. feel free to shoot me a message if you want to chat about it..
