This morning I had a shoot with one of my favorite photographers, Lou O’ Bedlam. We traveled to the wilds of Beverly Hills for a bit of nature and a lot of mosquitoes. What’s a little bloodshed in the name of art, right?
Lou mostly shot medium format film but we did get a few Polaroids, see. Between this, Friday’s slumber party and the Jules Verne Festival at the Edison last night, it’s been a weekend well-spent.
By the way, it’s October here.
The last photo is my favourite. Your hair isn’t very blue anymore!
I love the almost-purple look.
Hi Zoetica, this is my first time to your site, and I love what you do here and your artwork. Amaaazing! I found yoiur website through GalaDarling’s twitter. I saw your bright blue coif and was inclined to find out who you were, to a sense. Any how, I had a little curiosity, and I am wondering where in the world you got your glasses? They are simply amazing, very beautiful aesthetic. Might you direct me to the site/merchant you got these from? ♥C♥
Steph – it’s pretty darn blue usually, but it does fade into a sort of violet, like you see here. Time to dye!
Kate – thank you!
Crysti – the glasses are from Spexxx – a Canadian company. If you contact them they’ll send you a list of purveyors near you
I spent some time this morning (at work) looking over Lou O’ Bedlam’s flickr stream when I came across an image (the second from the bottom in this post) of you. After a bit more looking around at his excellent work I came across your flickr stream and then this site. I am absolutely blown away at your work. Instantly the little creativeness (is that a word) that I have seemed to have woken to a whole new world. Thank you.
