Hello meine lieblinge and welcome to the very first installment of Photo Flurry. I can’t be certain whether all of these will have a theme, but this one does: 1. fire and cobalt 2. night.
And while I have your attention: at 8pm ET this Thursday evening tune into G4 for Women of the Web to see me do something hideous to Kevin Pereira. Sort of.
And now, on to the photos for I have said too much.
Completely un-edtied, straight off the camera – the beginning one of the most beautiful, haunting sunsets I’ve seen this summer. Even during LA’s sweltering summer misery, these sunsets make it all worthwhile.
Taken by Señor Vasquez, this image was brought about by my new phone and all the ways its radioactive glow brings out the best in me.
Melrose Avenue, a bar after the Camille Rose Garcia reception, too many sparkling girls for a tipsy me to count on one blurry hand. In this shot, Jess, Kevin, Daria.
Amy – radiant, sauced and saucy.
A night spent talking on Lumi’s balcony. There was wine and gorgeous fried cherry tomatoes.
A shot by A. Kot. My back, unfinished ink, elevator – on our way out into the world.
Glitter-shoulder.
The same sunset, a few minutes later in the same perfectly sterile sky.
Off to a wonderful start I see!
Beautiful pictures as always…this will be an excellent addition to 5.0

Thank you! I love the idea of this, as opposed to me dumping my stray weekly photos onto my computer, never to be seen again.
Also, anything that reminds me that I love taking photos for fun as well as profit can’t be a bad thing.
You have amazing ink! Also , in photo #2 your eyes have stolen my soul.
The shot of your back makes your hair seem almost purple!
Thanks, Sean! Tim Kern [my inkslinger] is amazing.
Good eye, soldier Gaby! When my hair color fades a bit it turns a sort of deep violet
I love the shot that Jhonen took. It’s adorable, hysterical, and horrifying all at the same time. How are you so multitalented!
It’s a great color.
(Purple hair forever!)
You’re one of the few people who I think can actually pull off the clear-frame and look good in it.
IN OTHER NEWS, I love to see people’s everyday, random shots. This is rad.
I like the tattoo in photo #7. I’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo – I have none, so far. Is there anything I should know about it, i.e., symbolism or whatnot, or should I leave your stuff alone?
I’ve always admired your tattoos and was just wondering where the symbols are from and if they mean anything. Thanks!
